Vaccine Mandate
On June 12, 2023, Los Angeles Fire Department (“LAFD”) firefighters and paramedics filed an action against the City of Los Angeles for several causes of actions relating to the City’s COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate.
The Complaint alleges that those who opposed the mandate, even with notable exemptions, faced discipline, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unlawful suspensions, terminations and related due process violations.
